I am looking for some information on a SCSI controller for the A1000 from
the above mentioned company. I would be glad if someone can help me with
the following -
- How many drives can it handle ?
- Will it work with a 140MB Maxtor SCSI Hard Drive ?
- What kind of transfer rates can it achieve ?
- Can you use it with FFS ?
- What type of RAM chips does it take on the 2 MB expansion slots ?
- Does it have Autoboot facility ?
- Do you need to use an external power supply for the controller ?
(Note : This was advertised in the October 1989 issue of Amiga User Int.)
My Amiga system has 2MB expansion RAM (Comspec). Will the controller work
properly with this ?.
If any of you out there has used one of these, I would like to know how it
performs.
