[net.general] termcap problems with HP2621A?

I seem to have problems when using emacs, esh, rogue on my
HP2621A terminal. The problem is as follows:

when the cursor moves with a character, the character will move with
the cursor like it should but a copy of it will remain in the old position.

for example in rogue:

@........
is on the screen with the cursor under the "@"
i will move the cursor to the right 5 characters
and the result will be:

@....@...

with the cursor under the rightmost "@" (like it should)
however the left "@" should have been "erased".


Is this a problem with my terminal, my straps, or termcap.
I'm using the standard termcap file on my system.
