I have a 512K Amiga 1000 and would appreciate hearing about any experiences anyone has had regarding memory expansion and hard disks. I would first like to add memory. Are there any products that are particularly good or particularly bad? I am considering the Spirit Inboard and the Starboard II and would like to hear comments about either. Since I live in a world of Macs at school/work I need the memory to be compatible with AMAX. Has anyone used the Starboard II SCSI module? On a different subject, I would like to be able to use my Amiga to 'do science' (as they say). Are there any plotting and/or data analysis software programs out there (eg. least squares fits, math functions, fourier transforms, etc.). I would like something like the Mac's Cricket Graph and IGOR (which appears to be a marvelous program). I need to be able to easily read ASCII data files into the program.
