Please Help. I am an expert in MS-DOS land, but an ignorant person in amigaLand which I just enetered into. I bought an Amiga 500 w/ memory expansion to put my machine to 1 MEG. I also bought a unidrive 3.5" DRIVE(EXTERNAL). I hAVe had the following scenario happen twice while in workbench 3.1: If I double click on any icon nothing hAPPENS. The machinew is not hung up though, but I had to CTRL AA to get out. The only thing suspicious was I had been flipping the power ON and OFF of my external unidrive because I did not know which way was on because it was not labeled. I CANNOT recreate this, but I want to know if I should get my machine checked out. I do not like to tAke things back for no reason. Also I have a 1084 monitor. Is it normal for the speaker to mike a slight hissing as the volume is turned louder ?: Thank for any assistace, sorry for being ignorant, help would be appreciated and maybe oneday, when I become an expert I can help. Thank again Tim Trandel (T^3)
