[comp.sys.amiga] Looking For Cheap Hard Disk For Amiga 500

Will@cup.portal.com (Will E Estes) (10/05/89)

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to look for a cheap
20+ meg hard drive for an Amiga 500? Also, what's a reasonable
amount of memory to get in an Amiga if you plan to make use of
multi-tasking by running several applications concurrently?

Thanks,
Will

I use for my A500 the skyline HD which is one of the cheapest
hard disk for amiga that we can found here in france.
I got some trouble when I bought it because of a bad controller
card , but now it seems to work fine.
The skyline HD500 has 30 meg and an access time of 65 ms.
The version I have is not autoboot , but you can add an autoboot
module for a low cost (autoboot is not so great when viruses are
walking around ...).
You cannot add memory as allow the A590, but you can add another
disk (3" 1/2).

Buy a Hard disk to your amiga, it will transform it!
