I have noticed several people on the net complaining about the 1084 in interlace mode. Add my name to the list. My monitor has done this all along, but it is getting worse as time goes by. The person that explained the effect by saying the lines seem to vibrate 2 lines at a time, instead of just one (sort of like super-interlace ;-) explained it well. The text doesn't get "fuzzy" it just gets unreadable, though perhaps with a 2080 (when did these come out?) since it is long-persistance, the sharp unreadability gets blurred :-). This problem comes and goes on my monitor, and is more noticable towards the bottom of the screen. I would be very interrested if there were an inexpensive and/or easy way to fix it. I put emphasis on the inexpensive part, I can't afford a multiscan monitor right now...
