[comp.sys.amiga] Wait on CLI task to complete

scot@amigash.UUCP (Scot L. Harris) (10/16/89)

Is there a method to have a script wait for the completion of one or more CLI
tasks started with run in that script?

For example:

run foobar >pipe:a
run foobar1 pipe:a
run foobar2 >pipe:b
run foobar3 pipe:b
wait until foobar1 and foobar3 are done <---- Is there someway to do this?
ask "all done press return"
do some other stuff
endcli

Seems like I remember unix allowing something like that to be done but
I have been unable to find a way to do that using the Amiga.

Email if possible unless others would be interested.

Thanks!
