I noticed something kinda strange a few days ago and I hope someone can explain why it happens and the best way to fix it. The problem concerns Matt Dillon's great Dmouse (v. 1.14) utility. In my startup-sequence I add several directories to my search path, and startup Dmouse like this: path add ram.c sys:bin sys:utilities sys:system sys:s sys:prefs dmouse -A2 -C Ashell "con:0/11/664/194/Arp1.3" Then when starting up a Shell with Amiga ESC it starts fine but it comes up with a path of: current directory C: instead of the path specified in the startup-sequence. It works fine when invoked from a icon. I am using workbench 1.3.2, all of the Arp1.3 commands, and conman (version 1.1 I think). So why is this happening and how to fix it? One way I found around the problem is to put the path add command in the Shell-Startup file although this is one work around is there a better one? Thanks for any help you can provide. -- Craig Barnhart Usenet: gmr@mentor.cc.purdue.edu 436 S. Chauncey Apt #6 West Lafayette, IN 47906
