Hello Netters,

I just got a Canon PJ-1080a color ink jet printer. A friend of mine
has a program that will print huge posters from an IFF picture, but not on
color printers......Does anyone know of a program that will print color posters???
Any help would be great,

The only thing I've seen that will do that is Deluxe Photolab by Electronic
Arts. There is a poster program on there that can blow up and print a color
IFF file. The maximum size is about 10' square or so.

My suggestion for color printing of large posters is Electronic Arts's
Deluxe Photo Lab. The painting program is only so-so but the poster program
is really excellent and works quite well with the driver that I use for my
CGP-220 (the Tandy version of the same printer you're using). If you can
get (or already have) a driver that supports the color capabilities of your
printer then this will probably work.

The only problem is, the package is WAY overpriced. Expect to buy it new
for about $99! I'm currently looking to get rid of mine for:
	a) enough money to buy a used Deluxe Paint II
	b) somebody else's old Deluxe Paint II

I've already got a nice HAM mode program now (DigiPaint 3), so I'm just
looking for something that will help me draw my gadgets and what not a little
easier.
