I'm looking for reccomendations for Video post-production software for the Amiga. I run a small video production firm and have purchased an AMIGA as part of it. I want to know what software I should have to generate 3-D animation in real time. I want something that is fairly easy to use, yet still uses the full potential of the AMIGA. I've heard of "THE DIRECTOR" and am leaning toward that, as I'm fairly familiar with programming the AMIGA. VideoScape 3-D is also on my list, although I'm open to other suggestons and would, in fact, welcome them. Please respond E-Mail, as I'm sure I'll get alot of replies (exactly what I hope to get) and don't want to clog the Net with them. -- * SAC UNIX= Sacrmaneto, CA /// ************************** * User= Brian Cox /// * When all else fails, * * pyramid!amdahl!pacbell! \\\ /// * try reading the manual * * sactoh0!bncox \\v// **************************

I have an amiga 2000 with a 40mb hard drive (hardframe controller) and 3meg of memory. I bought an 8mm camcorder last spring and now I'm thinking about mixing amiga graphics with my video. I realize I need some kind of genlock device, but I'm not quite sure what's available out there now. Anyone have suggestions? I'd also like to be able to digitize video images from my camcorder, but that's not as imporant right now. The key here is "affordability"... I'm not looking to spend oodles of money right now (I already did that when I bought the camcorder), but any suggestions will be taken gladly. Has anyone actually seen or used the "video toaster"? Please EMail directly to me... I rarely have the time to keep up with this newsgroup. If enough interest is expressed, I will post a summary article. Thanks in advance...
