GAME WARNING: Shadow of the Beast - Does not work! At the store where I work we've had EVERY COPY returned with various problems. It is my opion that these problems are due to just plain bad programming. Until Psygnosis fixes and re-releases this program, AVOID at all costs. It will not work properly on any machine. +----------------------------------------+ +--------------------+ | | ///\ | This Space |\ | Chris Cebelenski - Laser Light, Ltd. | /// \ | Intentionally || | Bitnet: CEBELENS@CTSTATEU.BITNET | ///____\ | Left Blank || | AT&T : (203) 229-0080/5580 | /// \ +--------------------+| | "Amiga Networking is the Future." |\\/// \ \____________________\ | |\XX/ \ +----------------------------------------+ "Windows and Icons and Mice, Oh My!" Uh...My copy of "Shadow of the Beast" works just fine on my 1000 with a 1 Meg of RAM. It hasn't crashed once in about 30 hours of play. It is my opion that these problems are due to just > plain bad programming. Until Psygnosis fixes and re-releases this program, Just plain bad disk duplication sounds more like it to me. Now, if you want to talk about forcing people to sit through a minute of music and then a long disk gronk back to demo mode - now that's plain bad programming. Still love the game, though. brian (grebyn!brian) bishop

I have been playing beast for 3 weeks now, and have never had a problem. I have not experienced any crashes of any sort. Currently I have an A1000 with a spirit inboard (2 meg). Why does the game work fine for me, and not for you? ( a mystery perhaps?). I've never had any problems running 'Beast', though I can't say I've managed to get all that far through it; I have run it dozens of times without any glitches. I have 1 MB of Chip RAM and 2 MB of Fast RAM. Stuart W. Pierce
