I have an Amiga 500 with the 512k expansion thus 1 meg. I have 1
external floppy by unidrive. Why do you lose memory after working with
workbench for a while. I start out and my system has around 880,000
bytes free. If I work for a while then come back to just my icon
for workbench I'll be down to arounf 800K. Also , why does the Amiga
boot up with slightly different memory available if you warm boot or cold
boot.
I know these are not problems because all four of the machines at my
dealer do the same thing. Mostly happens with a floppy system only.
Any suggestions on where to learn how the Amiga handles it's memory. ?
P.S. Shadow of the Beast works fine.
I use 1.3.2 workbench and for the lovely fellow who mocked me when
I accidently said 3.1 in a previous question, please act more mature
as I'm sure you're not quite as error-free as you think. You mailed the
reply in split screen, all garbled. Perhaps you should learn how to use
this service before you mock others !!!
