[comp.sys.amiga] Amiga floppy drive help

 I could use some help with a broken floppy external drive on my
1000.  The thing is not totally non-functional.  However, above
track 70 and below track 10, the drive usually produces "volume
whatever has a read/write error".  This problem makes both formatting
and copying disks impossible.  Before I take it somewhere, is there
anything I can try???
