I need a list of LISP and Prolog programming languages available for the Amiga. They can be PD or Commercial it dosn't matter. Also if anyone has used any of these packages could you let me know what you think of them. Any help in these matters would be greatly appreciated. There is an expert system shell called Magellan for the Amiga. It is a rule based system (IF-THEN-type) with interesting capabilities. The system has both forward and backward chaining plus a synergistic mode (backward chaining followed by forward chaining). It is possible to define which goals the system should try to solve and give these goals a priority. Especially interesting I think is the possibility to communicate with the environment through files, other programs and via ARexx both as master and slave. It can also read Superbase, and Lotus 123-files. This requires the interface module (which costs extra) IF problem is screen colors THEN correction procedure EXECUTE palette They also have user support via a bbs and a newsletter for registered users. Is anybody on the net using Magellan? ----------- Robin Rosenberg
