There are two locations that I know of. uihub.cs.uiuc.edu (128.174.252.27) is
the major US location. Etana.tut.fi (128.214.1.1) is in Finland and also has
them (up to 244 I believe). From what I have heard Etana gets them from Uihub.

Has anyone been able to ftp to uihub in the last two weeks?
I keep getting timed out

Nope.

>I keep getting timed out

Ditto.

Is there another system that can hold these?? I would if I was on an
open subnet, but....

I'm going to try and hunt down the problem with uihub. Seems that nobody
outside of the Champaign-Urbana metropolitan area is able to get onto that
machine. Hopefully, I'll be able to get together with the other gurus next
week and we can try and figure out what's wrong with that machine. But
I dunno... it doesn't get a lot of respect from the staff.  So hang in there;
I'll be posting another note to the net in a week or so.

(we can't get uihub chorus and sigs deleted)

etana.tut.fi has 158-236, uxe.cso.uiuc.edu has 001-188.

Of the sites I have got through to, these two have the largest number.

(and my 2000 won't even get here until Thursday)
