>Here are some other trivia questions for Old Timers.

>1) What was Kaleidoscope?

It was a demo from EA that was on one of the 4 discs you got with the
early 1000. It had over two hours of moving shapes and cycling colors. My
roomate called it hypnotic (or was it psychotic ? :)

>2) What hardware audio capability does the 1000 have that the 2000 and
>500 don't? (It relates to powering up...)

The 1000 plays a series of (8?) tones (2/channel?) just before it
displays the Kickstart hand prompt.

>3) What was Brataccas, and why should Psygnosis never be taken seriously
>again as punishment?

I saw this program demo'd at my Miami dealer when I bought my 1000 in
SEP 85. All I remember is that I didn't like it.

>4) What was the first commercially available paint program for the Amgia?

I'm fairly sure it was Grapicraft which worked only in the lowest
resolutions and couldn't save IFF pictures (because there was no IFF at the
time).

>Lets see who can come up with the answers to these.

   I guess 3 or 4 isn't too bad :)
