LE I have an AMIGA 2500HD system with lots of VIDEO gear for analizing & publishing flow visualization pictures. The only thing I'm *currently* puzzled by is why Commodore copies ALL of workbench into the Boot partition. The manual hits all around the issue but doesn't explain anything, and the ABACUS book "AMIGADOS Inside and Out" is even worse when it comes to explaining things. I'd like a "simple" explaination of how the AUTO boot process functions/flows, and some discussions on what can be deleted/changed and WHY!!! in the startup sequences, and the boot and workbench partitions. Abacus has a good outline, but no meat. If you could reccommend(via Email) some good books, I'd appreciate it. Thanks, Richard ps:After reading IBM,MAC,& Amiga manuals the VAX manuals look pretty darn good! ===========< Richard E.
