[comp.sys.amiga] startup-sequence

ms1@briar.philips.com (Mitch Stein;6427;3.55;$0123) (10/19/89)

   Question from a new user,

What command sequence do I need to use to get my system

to run a program upon boot-up. What file must the program

reside in and what are the specific keystrokes. I'm looking

to run initprinter now, but shareware/freeware programs in the

   future. I own a vanilla HD 2000.

				 Thanks in advance,

				 Mitch

Upon boot the Amiga reads (and executes) a file called "Startup-Sequence"
that is located in the "S" directory of the boot disk (be it floppy or a
hard disk). Get your favorite editor and just edit the file till your
happy. It accepts the exact same commands (syntax, ext) that you would
   use from the CLI.
