I am trying to convert a DigiView 3.0 RGB format file into
the "Sliced HAM" format. I have tried using the Fuzzy Bitmap
Programs version 0.94 (raw2fbm, fbquant, and fbcat) to
produce a 256 color file in GIF format as I have a utilities
to convert GIF file to the SHAM format. Needless to say this
is not working :(.
raw2fbm produces a FBM file that all other FBM programs
refuse to read. Using fbcat -I with gray2clr produces a
21-bit ILBM file that can be converted into a .fbm 21-bit
file that is again impossible to convert as other fbm
programs choke on it.
Is there a program available that can convert a DigiView RGB
format file into a "raw" RGB file of the type that raw2fbm
will accept or the GIFtoTMP/TMPtoIFF utilities that are
available?
If I can get the RGB into a 256-color GIF file that would be
easiest. If nothing else, could anyone mail me the format
that DigiView stores its RGB files in? And the output format
for the GIFtoTMP conversion program? Any other ideas?
Thanks for any help, Ray.
