[comp.sys.amiga] Questions on Maxiplan / 1080 monitors

wilde@tigger.colorado.edu (Nick Wilde) (10/26/89)

A couple of unrelated questions for all you knowledgable people -

FIRST QUESTION - I remember reading about a update offer to Maxiplan
1.9 (offered by Best, inc ?), but in my typical befuddled style didn't
get the particulars. Could someone who has actually gone this route
e-mail me the details ? I.e. who do you talk to, what do you send
them, how much does it cost, and do you get any significant bug fixes
/ enhancements ? Does the program finally load up in interlace mode
if you launch it from an interlaced workbench ? Have their been any
enhancements to their macro language ?

SECOND QUESTION: Lucky me, earlier on I was lucky enough to pick up an
NEC IIID monitor used. This means if have my original 1080 monitor
sitting around in the carton gathering dust (the original 1080 that
came with the early 1000's). If I were to try and sell this, any
guesses as to what I could get for it ? If I were to try and sell it
locally, I probably have more luck selling it to an IBM type than
another Amigoid. Is this monitor compatible with any of the IBM
graphics modes (CGA, VGA, etc, etc)? If so, what can I advertise it
as being compatible with?

E-mail please, I'm sure the rest of comp.sys.amiga doesn't want to hear
about this.

Thanx in advance - Nick Wilde (wilde@boulder.colorado.edu)
