It's great to see an influx of new software on the unmoderated
alt.sources.amiga but I can't help feeling that we, the masses, are losing
out. Of all the programs that have been posted I have only been able to unpack
one properly, MRMan, because the other postings were corrupted in one way or
another. It also takes a lot longer to unpack, instead of using 'newsbreak',
it has to be done 'by hand'.
This is not really a complaint or a flame. merely a request that contributers
to alt.sources.amiga take more care packing their postings, and if some
binaries are included to seriously consider sending them to Bob Page at
comp.binaries.amiga. Even though there will be a delay in posting, we will
all be able to get working copies of the programs.
