[comp.sys.amiga] Lattice C++ & A2000 on its side & Voyager pictures

I have three diverse questions:

1) Can anyone post or e-mail his opinion of Lattice C++; I would
   like to get C++, but if it isn't a good product, I won't.

2) I have been running my A2000 standing on its side ("tower"-like) for
   several months now. I've had no problems except for a locking up at
   arbitrary (no pattern detected) times: the screen blanks and a disk
   light is left on most of the time. Once it starts occuring, rebooting
   doesn't cure it; it will lock up 2-10 minutes after a reboot. Powering
   off has worked so far though. I'm wondering if this is related to the
   hardware being on its side (particularly the drives). Is this problem
   familiar to anyone?

3) I have enjoyed the recent Voyager II Neptune pictures and thank those
   who made those possible. Does anyone know of a repository of V I or V II
   Uranus, Saturn, Jupiter pix in IFF or Sun rasterfile format? I think
   other people would be interested in these as well.
