I suddenly realize that all of those postings about AmigaUUCP were probably worrying about PRECISELY this topic.... too bad I didn't pay much attention to them..:-(:-(... Unfortunately, for a variety of reasons I would like to explore getting my *own* news (and presumably mail) feeds to my Amy at home. Basically, I start with an A2000, a 2400 baud modem, and a not-currently-being-used 40 meg harddisk [actually, it is half of an 80 meg disk... just the first 40 seems to be holding me at the moment, so I'm thinking of doing netnews on the other 40...]. I have no need for 'free', and certainly am not interested in heroics... if ther eis a commercial package out there that does what I need that i can just drop onto my machine and not think about too much, I'll be happy to buy it... I'm quite sure I can get the actual feed locally, so all I need is the software... All advice, pointers, etc, would be appreciated....
