Version 2.6 of A68k is finally done. Not Real Soon Now, it's real, it's here, and soon it'll be out there. The main enhancement is the optimization of forward branches, but I've also corrected all the bugs and added many of the enhancements that all of you out there have told me about. Those of you who sent me disks will be receiving them as soon as I figure out how to stick them to these trained snails I picked up at a government office. :-) All other letters will be replied to as well; this is just a general notice to let you know I'm still alive. Furthermore, the new version should soon be appearing in comp.{sources|binaries}.amiga, and Fred Fish will get a copy too. If anyone else wants a copy of A68k version 2.6, feel free to send me a disk at: Charlie Gibbs 2121 Rindall Avenue Port Coquitlam, B.C. Canada V3C 1T9 I'll gladly throw in my talking clock and some other goodies - ask about my Z-80 CP/M simulator if you're interested. Thanks again to everyone for your support.
