Howdy, all... I'm trying to get my hands on *any* implementation of a Prolog interpreter suitable for an Amiga 500 with only its single disk drive. Anyone have any [ideas|pointers|suggestions] on where to look? Better yet, anyone have one? Thanks muchly! Brian A. There is prolog interpreter from University of New Hamsphire that works for 512K and fits on one floppy. It costs $75. I don't have their address and phone# with me. I found their address on the April issue of byte magazine last year (on the new products section). If you can't find it, send me a mail. I will dig up the phone# for you. Owen

Is there any version of PROLOG available for the A500 I have seen vtprolog which was not advanced enough and SBprolog is rather...erm....gigantic and will not run on my Amiga. Surely if theres a version of lisp for the amiga there is also a version of prolog. I would also like to know if such a version exists on ftp etc.... -=Andrew Mcsherry=-

There is a commercial Prolog in Germany. It lacks real Amiga support after what I heard. There was something about it in a German Magazine (Amiga Welt or Amiga Markt&Technik). The price is something like DM 250,-. If I find any more info I'll post it here. The name is Philgerma Prolog. Anybody having experience with this prolog please tell us here on the net. ----------- Robin Rosenberg

ANNOUNCEMENT: A very large multimedia project has just been announced for Concordia University, Montreal, CANADA. initial core: 9 3MB A2000HD's, 1 2500 genlocks, digitizers (video/sound), etc I have been hired by the University to help realize this project. Unfortunately, I have a full course load and may not be able to put as much time into it as I would like. The reason I am posting this here is to let people know that lots of info/help may be requested from this end of the world. Many part-timers will be hired, and much favorable publicity for Commodore may result from this project. We may even be featured in AmigoTimes ;^). (joke). Specific details available upon request. I would like to make contacts with people who have done similar projects. This is large. I need recommendations for languages, and yes I do realize that Arexx is perfect for the job. Lets hear it for Amy, she's makin' headwaves... Merci a tous! ****************************************************************************** * * * My lady friend does lots of wonderful things for me, and all at once!! * * * * Stefan Buchholz * * * * * * * * Reply to ----> stefan@sunkisd.cs.concordia.ca * ******************************************************************************
