I have received some e-mail about the audio filter in A1000. It is true that the audio filter in A1000 cannot be turned off with software but, according to the mail I received, there has been in some issue of Amazing Computing instructions how to get rid of the filter in A1000 with a little hardware modification. In A500 and A2000 it can be turned off by software. There are some public domain -programs for this purpose, e.g. LED. Anyone of those who e-mailed me about this subject didn`t remember the specific date of the Amazing Computing in which those instructions have been. Maybe somebody could post the information about that.
