******** Announcing Mail Gateway "ihnp4" ******** System "ihnp4" is now available as an official friendly mail gateway into and out of the Bell System. Send mail to ihnp4!action if you are interested in establishing a new two way link. While the gateway can contact many sites directly, there are just as many sites that are unknown. Reasonable attempts will be made to establish new links to major sites unknown to the gateway, and to give feedback if a destination system is not reachable. Currently, there is limited dialing capability on ihnp4, so please keep the traffic to reasonable levels so that the system can keep ahead of any backlog. When additional dialing capacity is available, a message will be posted to USENET. In the meantime, other ihnp* systems might be used to share the load. This service is open to public on a friendly basis. Some software and hardware changes are expected in the future, and we would appreciate your patience with any difficulties that we may encounter.
