I know this is an old subject that has been asked over and over, but I was off the system for awhile. Where can I download pictures from the Neptune flyby? Preferably in an Amiga graphics format. Thanks in advance. - Sean Schur

It appears that the amiga directory at Trantor.UMD.EDU is no longer
accessable. Therefore I have uploaded the Neptune pictures to three
different sites.
etana.tut.fi [128.214.1.1] /tmp/public/neptune?.*
louie.udel.edu [128.175.1.3] /pub/neptune?.*
mazama.stanford.edu [63,51,0,8] /pub/amiga/neptune?.*
Note: the first site in in Finland, the third site is where I got
the original data from. The first two directories are temporaries;
the files may get moved to the "amiga" directory. The four files are:
-rw-r--r-- 1 jms 5616 Nov 9 23:07 neptune0.readme
-rw-r--r-- 1 jms 555424 Sep 7 01:21 neptune1.zoo
-rw-r--r-- 1 jms 518290 Sep 13 02:20 neptune2.zoo
-rw-r--r-- 1 jms 82496 Nov 9 20:13 neptune3.zoo
Neptune3.zoo includes a script using ShoWiz as a slide show. It is
set up to work equally well with the pictures on two Amiga floppies,
or with them in two subdirectories of a hard disk.
For those of you on DECNET, I sent the files to guineau@wjg.enet.dec.com
(W. John Guineau 291-7144 NKS1-2/H9).
I also sent two full floppies to Fred Fish. I hope there is not a problem
with him distributing ShoWiz, since it is shareware. But it is the only
program I have found that correctly displays a 480 line picture and works
right when double-clicking on the picture's icon.
