I am seriously considering buying Bill's Boards bus expander for my A1000. I received their literature describing it fairly well. Now I would like to hear the opinions of any current owners of this product: Is it relatively easy to assemble if your're not a hardware expert? Where is the best place to get the AT case and power supply? Is there a particular AT case that works out the best (no drilling)? What kinds of expansion boards are you using in it? (I have an A2090, A2052, and FastBack hard card that I want to use) Can you use an XT-compatible hardcard (like the FastBack) with the A1000 without having a bridgeboard installed in the bus expander as well? Sorry, I tried mailing to you but it bounced. To: intvax!unmvax!gatech!PANAM.BITNET!JAGBDCD Subject: Re: Seeking opinions on Bill's Board I haven't received any replies from people who already bought one and are using it. To obtain the literature from Bill's Boards, you can call 619-486-0908 and leave your name and address on their answering machine. They will mail you the specs within a few days. If you don't want to make a long distance phone call to an answering machine, just drop them a line to the following address and they should respond. I haven't decided yet if I'm going to buy one. 9528 Miramar Rd. Suite 181 San Diego, CA, 92126
