[net.general] Spelling of 'weird'

msc (03/30/83)

I know it's considered bad form to publicly criticise (no flames
please; I'm British so 'cise' is correct for me) people's spelling
on the net. However one glaringly obvious error has been repeated
so many times recently that I've completely lost track of the
offenders so I can't send them each a correction.

Please, net people, the word is 'weird' not 'wierd'. I know that
the rule says "i before e except after c" but this is one of the
	many exceptions to that rule.
