I have a friend who is going to set up a hypermedia type lab very soon. He is an Amigaphile and would prefer to use A2500's for the setup, however needs to know if there is any software out there that will allow him to tie into CD-Rom drives. He wants to be able to use the information on the CD without too much jerryrigging. He has a total budget of over 30 grand and would prefer to buy Amigas, however if the software just doesn't exist or he can't get informatio on it he will be forced to buy Mac's. If anyone has had any experience setting up a hypermedia system on an Amiga, with a CD-Rom attachment, I would appreciate any and all information that you have about it. My friend needs the information soon for the presentation he will be making at a staff meeting (preferably before the 22nd of November). Also on a side note this lab will be set up at a local school, who should he contact for educational discounts??? Thanks, Suresh. .
