[] Someone mentioned a while ago that someone else had written code to do Asyncronous file I/O with fprintf()-style commands. I'm currently working on a program that I'd like to use async i/o with, but using file handles obtained by Open() rather than going straight to the device. I see no reason this isn't possible, and I would like to find the source, preferably on a recent fish disk or ftp'able. I'd also like to know if a program like this is likely to break under 1.4, as I've seen no warnings about examining the structure of a file handle. Eric J. Scwertfeger, UNLV maniac@arrakis.nevada.edu
