Has anyone out in netland received binary files over TELNET? Our VAX running VMS currently only has XMODEM and Kermit available. I've tried XMODEM, but it won't synchronize over TELNET (due to the packet switched nature of TELNET?). Kermit works fine on text files, but when I try binary files I have a problem. The files transfer fine, however, when I try to use it (i.e. unZoo it if it is a Zoo file), the file does not "work" properly. Can binary files be transfered via TELNET with these protocols? Can anyone help me with these problems? I really am not all that familiar with Kermit, am I doing something wrong?
