Hey folks, I just spoke to a friend of mine and he tells me there is a new version of QuarterBack (within the last several weeks). I bought it last summer at AmiExpo and currently have version 2.2 I think he said something about a version 3.3??? Does anyone know anything further? I have not received any notification of update info (I thought this is one reason to *buy* software). If you e-mail me, I will post summary. I *wish* that the new version will use some sort of compression scheme so that my 100M backups don't take up 120 disks!!! Through experience the program was obviously designed around a small hard disk (40-60M). I have run into such things as file counters overflowing, disk counters overflowing, and being forced to read in my entire hard drive directory when I only want to backup a portion of it. The good thing is that it still works, despite giving wrong information and it is *fast* (100M in 3 hrs). BTW, I haven't received notification of update either but I'm running version 3.2.
