I'm looking for tar (the UNIX tape archiver command) for the Amiga. I know it exists, I even talked to the author once, but now I've lost all trace of this program. Can anyone help? Greetings, Net.folk: I'm looking for a unix-compatible tar program for the Amiga. I've grabbed a number of programs and source files from the Net over the past while, and the easiest way to get them to my home machine would be to tar them up at the office and uucp them to my Amiga. I did so, using a newly acquired Trailblazer Plus (God, I love that machine!), and then realized, to my chagrin, that I do not have an appropriate program for breaking up the tar files. Good planning! I could send them back to the office and use zoo to package them up, but considering the volume, I'd rather just get an Amiga version of tar. Can anyone help me out here? Can anyone mail me the uuencoded program, if it's not too sizeable? Any pointers would be appreciated. Brian -- Brian A. Jarvis, J.T.S.
