I would like to know a couple of things about the Amiga of which I _think_ I know the answer, but I'm not sure. 1. I'm thinking about buying a [A|B]2000 motherboard. Could someone please explain the differences between the A2000 and the B2000 ? Also; what is the latest revision number of both boards (if applicable) and how much should I pay ? 2. Iff I want to have a PC in my 2000, can I take the average PC- motherboard and just plug it into one of the AT expansion-slots or must I buy the special BridgeBoard ? How 'compatible' is this BridgeBoard ? How does the PC-part handle I/O, e.g. can I use the 2000 serial port as COM1: on the PC and still use it as SER: on the Amiga side ? What about the diskdrives ? Can I read both Amiga and PC format on the same drive ? Any more information you would like to share on this subject ? 3. What if I buy one (big) SCSI harddisk and put a SCSI controller in both the Amiga and the PC part and connect them both to the disk; is it possible to divide the disk into two drives; one formatted for the PC-part (the lower part I presume, as a PC must boot from track 0) and the other for the Amiga and use them at the same time ? Any information is very welcome. Please reply by e-mail. I will send a summary to anyone who is interested. Thanks very much in advance, -- Rob. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 'He whom whispers their fate into the ears of lobsters is bound to get nipped.' 1> SH Rood ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Robert Belleman, co-system-manager the Netherlands Cancer Institute Amsterdam.
