Does a program similar to unix's "KILL" exist on the amiga? If so, where can I find it? I often use my amiga remotely, and always seem to tie up the system with useless tasks that only slow the system down. I have built a re-boot sequence that I can initiate remotely incase something nasty happens, but it would be far better if I could just type 'kill pid' Other question: Is there any way of totally suppressing the system requesters? I have Noreq, posted a long time ago, but some programs still insist upon bringing the requester up. One of the problems is that an Arexx program I wrote often needs to check the existance of a volume (like man:), but if it's not assigned, a requester popp's up, and the machine locks up remotely. I have worked around that particular thing, but there are others.
