Has anyone heard of a module that allows sculptAnimate to serve as the front
end for a Wave front? I remember reading about it somewhere but no one seems
to have any info now.

The module you are looking for was writen by Rodney Iwashina. Rodney works
for the JPL in Calif. He wrote the converter for the guys at disney and he ow
owns the rights to it on the Amiga as far as I know. I just placed a call to
him over the phone and he will get back to me. If you want to talk to him leave
me email so that he can call you.

For all those you interested in the Sculpt Wavefront connection I posted
earlier, I have located the article I first read it in. From the September
issue of AV Video (a semi-respectable trade magazine in the video community)
Matthew Leeds mentions in his article "Brewing Amiga Solutions":

".....Access Technologies' ACAD Translator converts AutoCAD files to SA4D
files, and Byte by Byte is about to introduce an SA4D-to-Wavefront conversion
module."

I know it doesn't really clear up any questions but the fact that it exsists
in print gives the whole thing a little more credibilty..."I read it in
Rolling Stone so it MUST be true..." or so the joke goes. I'll keep an ear and
eye open for more info hope y'all will do the same. DAK

I think I poosted once before about this, If anyone is interested in the
SA4D Sculpt to Waveefront converter you can mail me your address or
telephone number and I will forward it to the author Rodney Iwashina. Rod
owns the writes to the converter on the Amiga and is the only source.
