Since there seems to be some interest in demos and such, I thought I would pass along some info on a couple of sound and animation disks I have seen recently. There is a file out called lollybob.exe, it is the BEST example of animated bobs that I have ever seen. If you see this file, it is a must get. For some of the best sound demos (I think they are doen with SoundTracker) there is a collection of disks called the QuickSilver Ultra Sound Disks. So far I have 3 of them. You boot the disk, and get a selection of about 5-10 songs to choose from (by sliding the mouse). After pressing the mouse button, the music starts, some info scrolls across the screen, and there is some animated, colored bars keeping time and rythem with the music. It has some of the cleanest sound I have heard. These all seem to come from Europe, but are all PD as far as I can tell.
