blech@eleazar.dartmouth.edu (Michael Blechner) (11/29/89)

I am fairly new to the net and I know there has been a lot of stuff around
about the BADGE killer demo contest, but who are BADGE? I would like the names
of one or two contact persons in this group if anyone could suppy these.
Thanx. Please send to my EMail.

BADGE = Bay Area Developer GroupE (the silly acronym courtesy of Brett Glass)

An informal collection of Amiga Developers in the Bay area that meets
periodically, (next meeting Dec 11th, at Foothill College) to discuss
development issues and new technologies on the Amiga. The current "home"
is Foothill college in Los Altos California. We also started collecting
demos for an annual contest and that became the Killer Demo Contest (now
gearing up for its fourth go at it.) Contacts on the net include myself
(cmcmanis@Eng.Sun.COM), Thad Floryan (I believe it's well!thad), Leo Scwab
who is ...!well!schwab among others.

These opinions are my own and no one elses, but you knew that didn't you.
"If it didn't have bones in it, it wouldn't be crunchy now would it?!"

Actually, Thad is "cup.portal.com!thad".

>Leo Schwab who is ...!well!schwab among others.

Also Mike Smithwick, "mike@ames.arc.nasa.gov".
Jim Mackraz, "jimm@amiga.uucp" or "jimm@batgirl.uucp".
Rob Peck, "ardent!rap".
And myself.

I haven't seen Tom Rokicki nor Dale Luck around the net recently.
And it beats me how all those other BADGE folks can live *without*
the net.

Yes, but not anywhere near as silly as another of the early suggestions...
Bay Area Amiga Developers, Programmers & Users Network (you figure it out...)
