|I bought the Commercial version of The Manx Aztec C compiler which was
|to include one years free updates. The version I have is 3.40B. Version
|3.6a came out very shortly after I bought the 3.40B version. I still
|have yet to receive any notification of any new versions becoming avalable.
|Needless to say, my year has long since gone by without any "FREE" upgrades
|being received. Gets one a bit P.O.d to pay the extra cost for the higher
|level of service and getting ZIP.

I had the same experience. If you want the upgrades, you have to call
them and find out if there is an upgrade. Then you have to call them
and ask for you to be placed on a "priority update list" (needless to
say, this means squat). Then you get to call them three or four more
time to beg for the release when they don't send it. Finally you get your
disks anywhere from six months to a year after the upgrade is announced,
and three to four months after it appears in stores.

This has happened twice when I tried to get two separate upgrades.

I would not deal with Manx. I would not give them a cent of your
money. They are very disorganized, and it appears that once they have
your money they want to forget about you.
