[comp.sys.amiga] Amiga Print Ads->Dec. 4th Newsweek

C503719%umcvmb.missouri.edu@cunyvm.cuny.edu (12/06/89)

Just an update on the Amiga printed ad campaign. The December 4th issue of
Newsweek has an *8* page ad spread (spread #2 with B.B. King, etc). There is
the normal cover page intro, then 6 case studies, and then a final page has
been added. On this page, Commodore gives an 800 number to dial for info on
the dealer nearest you. Also, there was a list (incomplete but long) of
dealers in the Midwest (I'm in Missouri) including Texas, Arkansas, Kansas,
Missouri, etc. The list is probably different for different areas of the USA.
Also, there was the 'Amiga. The computer for the creative mind.' slogan and
Commodore's name on this page.

So it looks like they fixed their print ads to give more info on how to *get*
the computer or at least info about it. Good show.
