EAT ME

That demoreel 3 wasn't all that hot.

Really it's not. The sound is great though. Well done.

The picture slide show is OK, but too few pictures.

The downer of the whole demo was the 6ish tv set's displaying old
siggraph and other images.

The lips were ok, but the sound was stupid. Too comical.

The eye's were funny, but crude.

It dwelt too much with the flipping images. Nothing impressive.

Flip flip filp. tweek-bleep tweek-bleep flick flick tweek tweek flick flick

BOOOAARRRRIINNNGGG.

You could have done something spectacular with it, but it turned out to be
dumb.

Incidently, I picked up a Digiview 4.0 demo disk with pictures too.
They are ok. Very pretty.

Have they published code on how to display the images (they look simple enough,
with one big glob of colour information for each scanline). But I'm no good
with copper programming.

The bottom line is that a company like NewTek could have done a lot better
with their demo. (It could have been much more original with the TV sets.
And that sequence with the B+W portable screen thing was sort of dumb.
And the voice could have been cleaned up a bit.

Can anybody tell me what was in the 'DemoReel2'? I missed it.
