[net.general] Where you come from

Hi, everybody, just a quick note.  When you send out mail
or a news article, don't just put your name at the bottom.
Please put some sort of address along with it.
For instance, I put:

		thekid
		...![ seismo, mcnc, we13, lime ]!rlgvax!thekid

There are a few systems on the net that do funny/interesting/really rotten
things to the headers on files, and it's occasionally very difficult to
reply to the person who posted an article or mailed me a letter.

p.s.	Also, if the person who reads your mail uses the `w' option
	instead of the `s' option to save your mail and THEN tries
	to figure out your address, they're out of luck.

p.p.s	As a side question, does anybody know the difference between
	the two options referred to above?  Is the `w' option just for
	people who don't want to know where their mail came from?
