For those of you with cable TV, the Weather Channel is presenting a half-hour show six times this weekend. In the San Francisco area, it is being shown at 9am, 3pm, and 8pm both Saturday, 9-Dec and Sunday, 10-Dec. The show is called "On Shaky Ground" and includes discussions with the geologists at the USGS in Menlo Park and excavations at New Madrid. The last one-third of the show is scenes from San Francisco after the Oct 17th earthquake. The Amiga 2000 is featured prominently in the scenes from Menlo Park. There is a Sculpt-3D view of the inside of the San Andreas Fault and genlocked overlay showing the frequency and magnitude of the aftershocks throughout all of California. -- Joe Smith (408)922-6220 | SMTP: JMS@F74.TYMNET.COM or jms@gemini.tymnet.com BT Tymnet Tech Services | UUCP: ...!{ames,pyramid}!oliveb!tymix!tardis!jms PO Box 49019, MS-D21 | PDP-10 support: My car's license plate is "POPJ P," San Jose, CA 95161-9019 | humorous dislaimer: "My Amiga speaks for me."
