[comp.sys.amiga] Looking for FONT MANIPULATION SOFTWARE.

Hi. I'm trying to get pixel-resolution output on a 120 dpi printer.
I can do this with my current software setting Preferences 1.3 to multiply
1 by 1. I now find myself needing fonts large enough to make this worthwhile,
since I need relatively large text.
Here's software I need/would like to have. I would appreciate knowing
if such software exists, and if so, where I can get it. Public domain is
preferred, as I am a staving graduate student. Please send all reply via
NETMAIL, and I will post a summary if there is interest.
FONT EDITOR: Something better than FED, capable of handling fonts in
point sizes up to 90. I'd want the ability to copy, mirror, flip and skew
either individual characters or some range within the set. (If you know of
a font editor which has some of these capabilities but not all, please let
me know about it anyway. I've had enough fonts trashed by FED that I'll
try virtually anything else.)
FONT MANIPULATOR: Preferably part of the font editor above, but I'll
take anything. I need the ability to enlarge extant fonts. I would like
the ability also to reduce and smooth during enlargement.
FONTS: I need large (60-90pt), sans serif fonts similar to Helvettica.
General PD or low cost font availability would be nice to know about as
well.
I have FTP capabilities from this address, so FTP nodes would be
wonderful.
Thanks in advance, and apologies if this has been discussed recently
and I missed it.
                                                      - R'ykandar.

For really MONGO fonts, you might check out TeXF, by Ali Ozer. I'll
convert TeX fonts into Amiga Fonts. You should be able to find/create
some really big san serif fonts on a UNIX machine, download it to
the Amiga and use TeXF to convert it into an Amiga font.
