Has anyone had problems with the MSizer tool that was recently posted to comp.sources.amiga ? It does what its supposed to but in the mean time it disables my escape key. This is pretty annoying when using STEVIE or when using vi over the modem. I using this on a 2500/20. -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Rob Gabbard (uunet!sdrc!evgabb) _ /| Workstation Systems Programmer \'o.O' Structural Dynamics Research Corporation =(___)= U =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

I was just getting used to MSizer, too. I had noticed the problem with the ESC key but didn't have the time to track it down. > > I using this on a 2500/20. I've had a problem with msizer too. I was trying it out on some console windows, then using F1 and F2 to restore the windows to default sizes when a window ran off screen causing a GURU...apparently either something is being modified without a lock that should use a lock, or something is not being updated correctly. Playing around for awhile I managed to lock up Intuition once, and cause a GURU several times. Other than that, it was neat! I really liked it.

Yeah, I had nothing but problems with MSizer so I dumped it pretty quick. It's
to easy to make it guru (try "resizing" a window - poof - oops). As I recall,
it also dorked around with my functions keys and/or something else.
Nice idea, still too buggy.

Maybe I missed something in the documentation, but it seemed to be a pretty lifeless program.... I dont know what Msizer is, but we have a terminal at work with an escape key that dosent work. I have instructed the operators to use ^[, and it works just fine. It's a bit annoying, but better than nothing. Hope this helps... Rich -Rich-@cup.portal.com
