arlan, now you know the main reason why writing for a living is so frustrating; money is secondary to the lack of dignity you are accorded. it's a buyer's market, and if you're not willing to eat sh*t and lick the editor's hand, someone else will, since the legions of starving writers and would-be writers are constantly beating at their doors... disgustedly, ernie
