okay@tafs.mitre.org (Okay, S J) (12/17/89)
I'd like to thank all those out there who have helped with my recent AmigaTeX and memory questions. I finally got Amy to produce a DVI file, although it seems that I'm the victim of an incomplete distribution. ("set command???---what set command?" :) ) Special thanks to Tom Rokicki and Jim Wright(whose posting is below) for all their TeXnical help in getting me this far, and to Rich Carreiro for the list of memory prices/places(also reprinted below in glowing phosphor for your reading pleasure) Thanx guys! :) ----Steve --------------- Stephen Okay OKAY@TAFS.MITRE.ORG #include <std_legal_puffery.h> ------------Set Commands for AmigaTeX(seems to work for all versions)--------- [plaintive cries by me for net.help] >Put plain.fmt, lplain.fmt, and tex.pool into TeX:macros. >Using the supplied "set" command, set these environment variables-- > texmacros=tex:macros > texfonts=tex:fonts > texinputs=.,tex:inputs > texformat=lplain <------ >= texopts=R > texpacked=tex:pk >The texformat setting is so that I always come up in LaTeX.
