My thanks to ASDG for the recent posting about the status of upgrades on CEDPRO II. It was mentioned that the software is being shipped out (at least initially) without the boxes. I think this is great, cause I'd rather not wait any longer to get my upgrade to this wonderful editor. My upgrade check and disk went in the mail last week. ---------- Questions: What is the packaging of CEDPRO II? IE. My vintage copy of original CEDPRO has a ring-bound 8.5x11 binder. I've seen later packages that had a spiral- bound (?) 4.25x6.5 book. What is the latest format? I prefer my large manual. Is the box intended to serve as a cover for the manual? (like Manx C, or asy IBM PC software). I mean, is it a sturdy box with one side left open so you can stick the box in your bookshelf and remove/replace the manual from it as needed? Or is the box just a pretty container to keep all the stuff in one piece? If the the box is designed to be used in a bookshelf (I wish I knew what this format is called!) as described above, then I hope I get the option of receiving one of them when they are available. If it is just a nicety, then I don't need it. ------------ I hope I receive a reply (and my new editor!), and posted this since I thought others may be interested. I am not affiliated with ASDG except as a very happy customer. PS Is ASDG ever going to offer an upgrade to Facc II to allow it to buffer hard drive sectors? Those of us with slow A1000 hard disk interfaces would like this. I believe BlitzDisk already does this ...
